Spring Flower Arrangements Bring Perennial Blooms

Tulips, hyacinth, and daffodils

make great spring time planted arrangements with bright beautiful colors and fresh spring fragrance. Once their flowers are done blooming, they also can be planted in your garden for long lasting beauty and year after year spring flowers.

You can leave your flower arrangement in its pot until the flowers are done blooming for the season.  Once the blooms start to die, take the bulbs out of the pot, and plant them in your garden bed, spacing bulbs 4-6 inches apart. We recommend mixing 1 tsp. per bulb of Bio-tone Starter Plus Plant Food in the hole prior to planting. Do not remove the dying flower head or yellowing leaves. These will add much needed nutrients to the plant while the bulb takes root.  Water bulbs right after planting. Although they can’t bear wet feet, bulbs need water to trigger growth.
