Bag Worms
Look for the bags of the bag worm NOW. They are eating evergreens and making thier "bag". The only way to rid your plants of them now is to pull them off manually. It is too late to spray, this should have been done from mid to late June here in the Miami Valley. Check your plants closely as these critters and their bags are hard to identify, they look like small pinecones.
