Garden Center Associate
Position Available:
Part Time and Full Time-Seasonal garden center/greenhouse employment
with the areas premier grower and retailer of annuals, perennials, herbs
and vegetables. Opportunity for advancement to full time year-round
position is available.
Job Description:
Everything having to do with production and sales of plants including
but not limited to the following:
Retail sales, watering, displaying plants, trimming, loading/unloading
carts of trays of plants, transplanting and cashier.
No experience is necessary, just friendly, wearing a smile, possessing a
sense of humor and have a conscientious nature.

Job Title:GREENHOUSE ASSISTANT GROWER
Position Available: Full Time employment growing bedding plants, rooted
cuttings, perennial liners and garden mums. One of the area’s premier
growers has a position available for a person with a positive, want to
attitude looking for a career opportunity.
Qualifications: This person will have a minimum of an associate degree
in horticulture or 2 years growing experience. A well organized,
detailed aptitude and a strong desire to produce plants of the highest
quality is critically important.
This position is physical and requires: reaching, bending, standing,
lifting, carrying flats, pushing carts, infrequent work in typical local
outdoor weather, damp conditions in high tech greenhouses, operating
small equipment, some weekend work will be required.
Job Description: This person will be well organized, have a strong work
ethic and be detail oriented, having a strong desire to produce plants
profitably. We require a person of good moral character, who is goal
oriented, with strong communication skills including computer literacy.
Starting Wage: Commensurate with education and experience.
