Fall Field Trips

DianeTellsAStoryAre you looking for a fun, hands-on activity for your kids this fall? Then Meadow View has a unique opportunity to offer you. Geared towards pre-school to early elementary children, our fall field trips will excite all their senses. Field trips are offered Monday through Friday from the end of September through October 31. We have both morning and afternoon sessions.

As the cool days of autumn wrap themselves around us, our ‘punkin patch’ will be ripe for the picking, just the perfect time for a field trip to Meadow View. When you arrive for your visit, kids and chaperones board a wagon and begin their way “over the river and through the woods” via a tractor-drawn hayride. During the ride, one of our friendly staff tell stories and interact with the enchanted youngsters. A stop at the Kidz Corral allows exhilarating times on the giant slide, straw jump and many other thrilling activities. Nothing messy – just good old-fashioned fun! Another stop at the ‘punkin patch’ gives each little one an opportunity to choose their very own pumpkin. A simple snack at the end concludes the visit and everyone returns to school re-energized and ready for the rest of the day.

Field trips are reasonably priced at only $7.00 per child and last approximately one and one-half hours. There is no charge for teachers or chaperones. We request a minimum of 15 children per group, one chaperone per 8 children and a credit card to reserve your spot. We do provide a rainy-day program should the weather not cooperate with story time, craft time, play time, pumpkin and snack .  Twenty-four hours notice or more is required for cancellation with refund.
