Getting Rid of Bamboo

We need some assistance on getting rid of bamboo. We have tried Roundup and Trilox, it is continuing to grow back. It is taking over our yard. We have read where you can build a trench and fill it with concrete to contain it, but I would like to remove it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
