: I recently fertilized my fig trees with the same fertilizer I used for my pecans, an 8-8-8 mixture. We have also recently had a very cold snap in Alabama and there has been some frost. Last week I started to notice a browning/wilting of the leaves on my fig trees and I don't know what to do. I'm not sure if they are frost bitten or having problems with the fertilizer. HELP!!!
VIC: Not to worry, this browning is probably the frost damage. As soon as it warms up they should be fine. MVG Plant Dr.
