: : I have recently bought some of these plants and there was no information with them. I would like to know what they are grown from and how long they flower also do they die off or remain evergreen.
Thankyou
Noreen
NOREEN: The Lisianthus is a desert flower. They like it on the dry side. The flowers have good lasting qualities when used as cut flowers. The plants bloom all summer but are annuals and will die with the first good freeze in the fall.
Do not plant outdoors until the danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed up. They like it hot, do not plant too early in the spring. MVG Plant Dr.
Noreen and MVG Plant Dr. Thank you both very much, just bought this plant last night and jumped on the web to find out about it! Regards, Gail
