: I live in the SW central corner of Arkansas. I want to plant Azeleas in front of my house under my window seals and around a playhouse on the south side of my house. Is it to late to plant azeleas bushes or do I need to what until next year? And how do I take care of them once I plant them?

FRAN: You can plant Azaleas all summer as long as you do it right. By that I mean plenty of good Canadian spagnum peat moss (50% by volume) with the soil you have there in your yard. Water well (thououghly soak) when planting and then as needed when the plants dry down. Do not over water or let them totally dry out. MVG Plant Dr.
