: : We live in a subdivision with a lot of large trees and squirrels. We have tried everything available at garden shops and Jerry Baker's varment spray including habanero sauce. They are rearranging our whole color scheme by their digging and killing young plants by exposing roots. Does anyone have an idea or suggestion on how to stop them?
TERRY: Do you have a cat, a fiesty one? 1) Get one and the squirrels will bother your neighbor's garden. 2)Trap them in a box trap and take them a few miles away and let them go there. They are to smart to try to fool. MVG Plant Dr.
I would suggest that you simply learn to enjoy them and FEED THEM!
Squirrels are a lot of fun and very lovable. They only are a nuisance if you force them into "hard labor". We have perhaps 10-15 squirrels in our extensive gardens and really no serious "delinquiency".
Please stop by our website and see the gardens and well as the squirrels.
