: One of my neighbors planted pansies last year, and they have come up again this year. I always thought pansies were annuals, but I noticed that in a book I have, it said they were biannuals. Do you know if they are annuals or perennials? Also, do you have any salmon colored pansies?

MARY: We have had just about every color under the rainbow. The Antique Shades group would be the closest to the salmon color you are interested. You will have to check the next time you are in or give us a call, the availability changes rapidly this time of the year.
Pansies are closer to a biannual, if you plant them in the fall some of the varieties will bloom the following spring. We grow fall/winter pansies in the spring and the fall. MVG Plant Dr.
