: Is this pine indoor or outdoors plant? We live in San Francisco in Sunset district where we have quite a lot of wind from the ocean and a fog.
I wonder if this pine will thrive outdoors well. I heard both recommendations.
Please, advice.
Thanks,
Majka
Dear Majka,
In the wild (Norfolk Island east of Australia), it reaches 150-200 feet tall. Even so, it makes a good houseplant when small and is very popular.
It is from zone 9-10, and won't tolerate more than two or at most three degrees of frost.
