I'm not sure about that, however, I do know that you can airlayer them as follows: Take a limb of your camillia about the size of your little finger. DO NOT remove it from the bush! Girgle it completely, rub the girgle with roottone. Take soaked spagnum moss and wrap the limb. Use a small piece of heavy black plastic to wrap the wound and secure with string or tape. Do this in March or April and you will be able to cut loose the rooting in October. You should have a plant at that time. If you have any questions, get in touch with me and I'll put you in contact with the best camillia specialist right here in my home town. He can tell you everything you want to know about Camillias.
Can you tell me agood place to order camellias from? I'm trying to find an indoor plant for my mother, we live in michigan. any help would be greatly appreiacted!!!
