: : I bought a Hydrangea yesterday that is pink, but I 'd like to change it to blue.
I read that iron sulfate or aluminum sulfate is good for changing the color to blue,
but I wondered if Miracid
by Miracle-Gro has the necessary ingredients.
Anything that will drop the pH should do the job.
My mother always threw a handful of nails at the base of the bush. Something about rusty nails changes the PH and turns 'em blue.
