: I have an area in my garden that I have nothing but lambs ear plants. They are very pretty but bumble bees are taking them over. What should I spray them with and how do I care for them. I have heard they are very low maintance plants. The stems with purple blooms are needing to be cut but I can't cut them till I do something with the bumble bees. The plants are
2 years old.
JAN: Don't harm the bees, work around them by doing the necessary maintenance when they are not around. They do not fly when it is rather cool or when it is rainy. They other thing you can do is to carry a smudge pot like the bee keepers do and smoke them out while you are in the area. MVG Plant Dr.
