: I'm growing tomatoes on the windowsill of my flat in
Staffordshire, England. Grown, with lots of tender
loving care from seed, the plants are now three foot
high and flowering.

A simple question - when should I nip out the topshoots
to direct growth into the fruit?

Thank you

Peter

PETER: You have a problem...doubtful if you will have much of any desirable fruit, it sounds like the plants are s t r e t c h e d and that trimming out the top shoot is not going to do the trick. You need to provide full sun to these plants to get tomatoes. MVG Plant Dr.
