My black currant bush is starting to have the rusty spots underneath the leaves. When looking at it with the magnifying glass - these spots look like a tiny raised mole hills, close to each other. Without the magnifier, it looks like a blotches of the rusty areas. They spread quickly and take over the whole leaf. They are NOT visible from the top - the leaf appears green & healthy. Then the leaf turns yellow. This phenomenon starts at the bottom of the plant, progressing upwards. I am VERY CONCERNED for the health of my (favorite) black currant, and the rest of the currants I have (which are the red variety, and so far seem to be OK). Questions: What is it? What can I do to save my currant(s)? How can I prevent the problem? I would appreciate your help. Thank you.
