I would like any information on which species
of ficus I need to achieve the lush, thick, green
hedge that I've seen used to provide a wall of
privacy. I also would like to know how hardy is
the plant and if it's roots are considered
invasive(if so...how much?) The idea is to have
about an 8 ft tall by maybe 1-1.5 ft thick hedge.
Any maintenance or soil and water requirements
would also be appreciated. I live in Southern
California and the area will be irrigated and
practically in full sun!
