: Hi. My yucca plant is slowly dying from the bottom up.
The leaves are turning brown and wilting. I was wondering if you could tell me how to save it? I was told to cut it at the healthy part and re-grow the roots.I was wondering how exactly to go about this?
Your help is appreciated.
Thank you.
Check at the roots for sone maggot looking bugs. This is a common cause of yucca wilt. They eat the bottom out of the plant. A gallon of insecticide mixture at 1 TBS per gallon will help. Over watering and under watering will some times cause the same.Yuccas need to dry out some.
