Hi Zach.
The Moonflower (Ipomoea Alba) is a member of the Morning Glory (Ipomoea) family. It’s seeds are indeed toxic. It is an ornamental vine whose distinctive, large white flowers bloom primarily after sundown. Here are a couple links that might help:

Common Dangergous Plants This link lists 56 common plants and their ill effects. See “Morning Glory” for symptoms.

Toxic Plants. This link is for plants toxic to cats. See “Ipomoea Multicolor” for Moonflower toxicity symptoms/treatment.

I do hope the cat has recovered? –Kathy

: I am a veterinarian and have a client whose cat ate some moon flower seeds. Appearnatly it is a hallucinogenic agent like peyote cactus. I am trying to find out if it is toxic or not to ingest. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
