: : I know this isn't the greatest forum to be asking this on, but I figure you'll have some advice:

I live on 2 acres, about half an acre of it is solid black berry bushes. Now, black berry bushes and nasty, thorned, vines that grow everywhere, and I've already found there are some good and bad ways of going at them. How do you recommend removing large amounts of them? I plan on saving some, for the fruit, but most of them have to go. Any help?

DEVIN: Get a BIG tractor with a brush hog and mow them off for starters. Then, as they start to grow back spray them with Round UP, it will take more than one application before you get a good kill. MVG Plant Dr.

Crossbow is much better for killing any woody type plant especially blackberry bushes.
