Ficus, braided stems or not, are notorious for losing their leaves when you move them to a new location. This can happen just by changing its location within a room. Decide on a permanent spot for it (not where you put the Christmas tree) and be patient. Soon it will have new leaves.
: I recently bought a braided ficus tree and it is losing
an abundance of leaves. It looks like there is a bit of
new growth but I am not sure if it will make it. What
conditions does it need most in terms of light and
water? I noticed similiar questions as mine but no
replies.
