Perennial March Madness

When:  end of March (March 23 – 25, 2017); while supply lasts

Our yearly spring sale to keep your garden going! Purchase robust, homegrown starter plants just like we ship to the professionals. Our Potting Station is also available during this sale to allow better growth while you’re waiting to plant. Green Thumb Guarantee not applicable to starter plants.

 

Hanging Basket Bonanza

When: Second Saturday in April (April 8, 2017);  while supply lasts

One of our biggest events of the year: buy one of our hanging baskets and get one free. Our customers rave over these baskets, so be sure to come in early and get yours as supplies are limited. Limit 4 free baskets. Come early for best selection. All Sales Final, No Further Discounts, No rain checks, No returns or exchanges. Moss and specialty baskets not included. Mother’s Day

When: Second Sunday in May (May 14, 2017)

This is one of the busiest days for flowers in the entire year. Mothers love to come to Meadow View and see all the flowering plants bursting forth with all their beauty.  To see what’s special this Mother’s Day, check us out in our store or on our Facebook page.

When: Mid-July (July 15, 2017)

Plant winners of All-America Selections exuded superior qualities which earned them this prestigious award. Think of the AAS award as a stamp of approval: these plants are guaranteed by impartial judges to perform well in backyard gardens across the nation.

Our beautiful AAS landscape bed contains varieties of flowers that have won in previous years. Take this opportunity to give us your opinion on which ones you like best and how you think they perform. With your feedback, we’ll be able to provide you with the perfect plants for your home garden.

MVG gives guided tours of our landscape beds. We plant what we sell. We know how they grow. Be inspired to try new varieties in your garden by seeing how plants perform in ours.

When: end September to the end of October

What could be better in fall than a hayride, a pumpkin and some good old-fashioned fun? Field trips are geared towards school aged youngsters. Reservations are required. Learn more about this here. 

 

 

Christmas Greenery and Plants

When: November & December

Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean gardeners have to stop growing. We have a beautiful selection of fresh, MVG-grown poinsettias, winter greenery and houseplants. Poinsettia fundraiser orders for churches, schools, and organizations are taken early to mid fall for pick-up or delivery after Thanksgiving. Call 937-845-0093 for more information.
