Best of Show

Pets and their owners were invited to get creative with costumes and show off for our panel of judges on October 26.

Most Creative

There was a Pet Parade from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. Owners and pets came dressed in their Halloween best and strutted their stuff. After the parade, our judges gave awards for:

  Best of Show (Dog)

• Most Creative
• Most Like Owner

Participants were encouraged to have fun and get creative! Last year’s winner for Most Creative was an owner dressed as a Crayola box and her six dogs dressed as colorful crayons.

Following awards, pets and their owners were invited to stick around for Pet Portraits with Best Friends Pet Assisted Therapy. Pet Portraits lasted till 1 p.m. Digital photos cost $7 for one and $10 for two. Proceeds benefit Best Friends Second Annual Pet Food Drive for the Pet Pantry in Springfield.
